The Lego Company History

Founded in 1932 by Danish carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen, the Lego Group is a toy manufacturing business. The group has a wide selection of products, and is one of the world’s largest makers of playthings. Additionally, it produces ideal entertainment goods. Its products include LEGO systems, and robots.

In the late 1960s, the LEGO Group built a theme park in Bil-lund, Denmark. The theme park has become a popular visitor destination. It incorporates a collection of all the toys which were produced by the Lego Group.

The history on the Lego business is very colored. It started off as a little workshop in Billund, Denmark. The company’s initial purpose was to develop imaginative play. Yet , the company subsequently began to expand into new items.

The company’s primary plastic structure bricks were produced in 1949. This was the start of what would be a hugely powerful toy sections. In 1951, 50 percent of the company’s creations were created of plastic-type material. The company branded its foundation style.

Additionally to the plastic-type construction blocks, the SEGLAR system of play was brought in. It inspired children to generate complete city hinders. The LEGO System of Enjoy was available with version cars and street signs or symptoms. The sets were infinitely expandable.

A new product line was added in the 1970s. In the eighties, the company expanded overseas. Inside the 1990s, the company created a amusement park in Carlsbad, California.
