The Lamika educational and charitable trust launched its services in the educational field in the year 2005 and established the KATHIR COLLEGE OF EDUCATION at Coimbatore in year 2007.
Mr. E.S. Kathir, the founder and managing trustee is an industrialist and educationist. Mrs.Lavanya kathir, the secretary and trustee is an educationist and a social worker.THE COLLEGE
The Kathir College of Education was started in the year 2007 by the Lamika educational charitable trust. The college is located in a serene atmosphere and pollution free environment at Neelambur in Coimbatore. It is close to National highway-47 from Coimbatore to Avinashi Road and the Neelambur by pass road. It is 14km away from Coimbatore city and 3km from the Airport.
The Kathir College has an imposing infrastructure, well-eqipped library and laboratories and a dedicated and talented faculty. The college aims at providing quality and value based education to students and to mould them into efficient and conscientious teachers.
