Principal’s Message

                                  The Kathir College of Education which was established in 2006 as a result of the philanthropic initiative of Thiru.E S.Kathir has been spreading the educational light to all irrespective ofcaste, creed and colour.

                                               Kathir college of Education has been taking efforts in channelizing the students towards national building activities and programmes in meeting societal needs and challenges posed by the globalization of education for the requirements of 21st century and generating required manpower resources to feed the nation in the present and the future. For this purpose, both academic and administrative machineries are geared in the right direction. Through democratic leadership, the college management is committed to achieve the holistic, integrated personality of learners. The college provides opportunities and experience to learner growth, through curricular and co-curricular means.

                                           The environment of the college is more conducive for effective curriculum transaction. The infrastructure created, the technology resources pooled, the specialized talents and commitments of faculty displayed, the academic strategies planned and executed to achieve the goals, vision and mission of the college are par excellence.

                                           A pioneer teacher training institution in Coimbatore region, Kathir College of Education offers B.Ed  programme to meet the educational demands of a large section of the population including Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tiruppur and Erode districts. With its long range plans, the college may achieve excellence in education.
